Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce GRACIE Awards

The GRACIE Awards celebrate community members who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to making our community a better place over many years. Recipients consistently embody the values represented in the award’s name: Giving, Resourceful, Admirable, Caring, Involved, and Exceptional.

First established in 2006 by the Chamber, the award honors the legacy of Gracie Trast, a longtime Park County resident who devoted more than a decade to improving the lives of developmentally disabled children in the area. Gracie herself was the very first recipient of the award in November 2006, recognized for her tireless contributions and lasting impact on the community.

Impact Award

This award celebrates individuals who have positively influenced the social, financial, and material aspects of the community. Their efforts have brought about significant, positive change, enhancing the quality of life in the area.

Non-Profit of the Year

This award acknowledges the outstanding contributions of non-profit organizations that have harnessed creativity and dedication to achieve transformative results. Through their work, they inspire others to advocate for the vulnerable, demonstrating the power of compassion and collective effort.

Chamber Spirit Award

This award honors an exceptional individual who goes above and beyond for the benefit of the Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce. Nominees will have consistently displayed a positive attitude while actively participating in Chamber committees, fundraising, events, and other efforts. They are proud champions for small businesses and embody a strong spirit of community and service.

Community Business Leader of the Year

This award honors a business leader who has made substantial contributions to the community beyond their professional responsibilities. Their dedication, leadership, and community service have made a meaningful impact on Bailey and its residents.

Business of the Year

This award recognizes businesses that have excelled in their operations and significantly contributed to the community’s well-being. These businesses demonstrate outstanding performance, community involvement, and a commitment to excellence.

President's Choice Award

This is a prestigious honor bestowed by the Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce President, at his discretion, to recognize an individual or business that has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to the Chamber and the Bailey community. This award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to support and enhance the Chamber's mission, showing outstanding commitment, innovation, and positive influence.
