Bailey's Bounty, the sweepstakes sales promotion to encourage buying local here in Bailey during the weekend after Thanksgiving is back again for 2025! It's the biggest sales promotion we do each year! It encourages shopping local, by incentivizing customers with a chance to win big prizes. 

For those of you that participated in previous years, I think you'll agree it was a successful promotion in driving increased sales. Customers receive one entry for every dollar they spend with participating businesses, so many shoppers visit multiple stores those two days.. And we award the prizes the week after the promotion. 

We promote the heck out of this promotion and it brings people into stores. In 2024 we had more than 39,500 total entries among participating businesses. Several of you have told us that you've set record sales during this event. Last year we awarded grand prizes with more than $4,750 retail value.

Because it's been so successful, it's back for 2025. 

1. It will be two days - Black Friday Nov 28th and Small Business Saturday Nov 29th.
2. We will be creating multiple prize baskets with each one having no more than $600 retail value. We're doing that to avoid winners having to pay tax on their winnings. And more gift baskets also means more chances for customers to win. So more excitement!

TO PARTICIPATE

All you need to do by NO later than 11/4 is:

1. Let us know you're in (via email, phone, text, in person or carrier pigeon, I'm not picky) Email: marketing@bailey-colorado.org and phone 402-598-5440
2. Donate something great for the gift basket (We need to know the retail value for our prize totals) I must have your basket donation and value by 11/4 or I can't include you.
3. Provide your logo (If you were in last year, I have it)
4. Provide an email address for communications on marketing plans and materials. 

The deadline is CRITICALLY important because we want to start promoting early November. So we HAVE to go to print on materials by November 2.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Since this promotion is about buying local instead of going down the hill, any business (brick and mortar or home based) in Bailey can participate, You don't need to be a Chamber member to participate. We don't have contact info for many of the home-based businesses (but we know there are lots of them), so if you know of any that you think may benefit from this exposure, please forward this email. Or give me the info and I'll send it out.
